About Me

I am an aspiring news producer with a passion for telling impactful visual stories and making news accessible to all audiences. I aspire to use my storytelling skills to be a watchdog for common citizens and provide vulnerable communities with information they need. As someone who grew up in the immigrant communities of Los Angeles, telling the stories of those who are overlooked and voiceless is important to me.

I have reported on congressional hearings, local city developments, and breaking news events such as the Borderline Bar & Grill shooting and the Woolsey Fire.

I have experience in broadcast, digital, and print journalism as I have worked on stories for NBC Nightly News, the Southern California News Group, and The Hill Newspaper. I have experience creating compelling multimedia stories and managing social media accounts for a national news network after my time with NBC News Digital.

I graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University in May 2020 with a B.A. in Journalism. At Pepperdine, I produced a live newscast that covered the Malibu-Calabasas communities and spearheaded the digital and social media strategies for our student-run, weekly newspaper.
